Local. This was the word used to describe the desired feel of the Jamestown Coffee House. The interior is designed to be a calming environment where people feel welcome to relax and spend time. The floor plan goes from more of a public area to more intimate as you progress from the front to the back of the space. The rear of the facility includes a multi-functional lounge area.
The material palette and wall graphics were selected with the help of the client to accentuate local qualities of Jamestown, NY.
A ceiling soffit and hanging light fixtures were implemented to help bring the ceiling height down to a more human scale without significantly adding project cost.
